About Lynn

Lynn Turner is based in Livingston, West Lothian, and is a forty something proud mother of two grown up children. She has had a varied and interesting career. Returning to full time education in the late nineties, she attained a Business Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and met her partner and soul mate of 11 years. She always has had an interest and affinity with people and the value they contribute to an organisation.  In 2003, Lynn went on to work with the Local Authority as an employee development consultant. There she worked with managers and staff in the care sector, including homelessness and community care housing. Her job was to help staff to get the most approrpriate learning opportunities to increase their skills and confidence.

It was at that time Lynn met Ros and became interested in finding out  more about massage therapy. She soon got hooked and decided to train as a therapist herself. She graduated from the School of Holistic Therapy ( where Ros is one of the tutors)  in 2007. Lynn also  is registered with the Massage Training Institute and works within their guidelines and ethics.

Lynn has recently left work with a small company in the training and education field to concentrate on her massage therapy and her work as an associate counsellor with Lighter Life. She undertakes regular supervision and further training to support and enhance her practice. She has recently successfully completed training in on site massage and advanced training in neck ans shoulder pain.

Passionate about bringing the benefits of massage therapy into everyday health and wellbeing, Lynn believes massage is something that everyone from all walks of like can benefit from on a regular basis.

Lynn currently uses her massage techniques to work to

  • Relieve Neck and Shoulder pain
  • Relieve Low Back pain
  • Relieve non specific tension and stress
  • Achieve relaxation.

Lynn is practising in Dedridge, Livinston, and on Fridays in Silverknowes.
