NEW FOR 2012

Monday workshop series in holistic massage

Cost per Monday workshop - £100

A series of four one day workshops, each complete in itself, taught by experienced and qualified massage tutors and therapists. 

Choose between

  1. Relaxing back massage
  2. Indian Head Massage Introduction
  3. Massage for neck, upper back and headache
  4. Stress-busting using massage and other practical techniques

Or do more than one!

Gain hands on skills as well as an understanding of the underpinning theory. They are a great introduction to our professsional massage training and for those who want to explore the possbility of a massage therapy career. They also teach you enough to be a well informed and effective amateur, working with family and friends.  

TWO DAY FOUNDATION  WORKSHOP IN HOLISTIC MASSAGE  £100

This weekend is for anyone aged over 18 who would like to find out more about massage. It is mostly practical, and you do not need any prior knowledge of massage or anatomy.If you are thinking of studying with us for the Diploma in massage, we would highly recommnd that you come on a foundation course to meet up and find out about the way we work and teach.

After the weekend you will be able to give your friends and family a massage treatment. You will also get the opportunity to find out about professional training in holistic massage.For therapists in other disciplines, you will gain 16 Continuous Professional Development hours.

TWO DAY FOUNDATION WORKSHOP IN INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE £80

Like our Foundation course in holistic massage this course is open to anyone over the age of 18 who is interested in finding out more about Indian Head massage.You do not need any prior knowledge of massage or anatomy.

After the weekend you will be able to give your friends and family a seated and clothed massage treatment based on traditional Indian Head Massage methods.

(Those who wish to continue their studies and gain the certificate will need to have met the entry criteria, and completed a Foundation workshop before moving onto the advanced weekend and their assessments. )

3 DAY STONE THERAPY WORKSHOP £225

This workshop is for massage therapists who have a recognised qualification in massage as well as anatomy and physiology. Courses are kept small to maximise your learning - places are limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 10.This workshop will equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to apply and integrate hot stone massage into your practice.

SUPPORT AND SUPERVISION EVENINGS £15

New for 2012 - Edinburgh venue and dates coming soon.

These evenings are for qualified massage therapists and offer a chance to meet with your colleagues, increase your knowledge and get help with your practice from your peers. All massage therapists are welcomed, and the sessions are particuarly helpful to those recently qualified. Price includes hot and cold drinks, and any relevant tuition and handouts. Participants will be also get a 3 hour CDP certificate.
