Lynn is based in Livingston, West Lothian, and is a forty something proud mother of two grown up children. She has had a varied and interesting career. Returning to full time education in the late nineties, she attained a Business Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management. Lynn has always had an interest and affinity with people and the value they contribute to an organisation. In 2003, Lynn went on to work with a Local Authority as an employee development consultant. There she worked with managers and staff in the care sector, including homelessness and community care housing. Her job was to support staff to access the most appropriate learning opportunities to develop their skills and confidence.
It was at that time Lynn met Ros and became interested in finding out more about massage therapy. Lynn soon got hooked and decided to train as a therapist herself. She graduated from the School of Holistic Therapy (where Ros was one of the tutors). Lynn is registered with the Massage Training Institute and the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council (CNHC) and works within their guidelines and ethics.
Lynn now concentrates on her massage therapy and supporting her partner to run their sash window renovation business, CraftWorx. Lynn is committed to CPD and undertakes regular supervision and further training to support and enhance her practice. At present Lynn is undertaking COSCA Certificate Level 1 at her local college to enhance her skills as a trainer and as a therapist.
Lynn has also recently become an Independent Consultant for NYR Organic products which she uses in some of her work as a therapist.
Passionate about bringing the benefits of massage therapy into everyday health and wellbeing, Lynn believes massage is something that everyone from all walks of like can benefit from on a regular basis.
Lynn is practising in Livingston.
